In the wake of Penn State's decision to fire coach Joe Paterno, many have strong opinions on whether or not he did enough to stop the alleged child sex abuse by his former defensive coordinator, Jerry Sandusky.

News 12 New Jersey spoke with sex abuse victims' advocate Robert Hoatson, who is concerned about the violence that has broken out at Penn State in support of Paterno. Hoatson says, "my fear is that it's going to retraumatize them."

He says he watched the students in Happy Valley overturn a news van and riot in the streets. Hoatson says he thinks it sends a terrible message and may put the victims into greater silence.
