Belgrade, 16 Nov. (AKI) - Serbian police have broken up a paedophilia ring, arresting a priest who was among more than 80 people throughout the country in an operation called "Armagedon," Belgrade media reported on Wednesday.

Among the arrested was a suspect identified as Goran T., who operated a studio in Belgrade producing and distributing child pornography, the police said. The operation was ongoing and no further details or names were immediately revealed, the reports said.

Goran T. was billed as "big daddy" of the operation which distributed child pornography material to clients throughout Serbia. His full name wasn't revealed because of the ongoing investigation, the police said.

Clients included a number of parents of minors and among the arrested were one priest and a lawyer.

The children in pornographic clips, which were sold for 25 euros, ranged from two to seventeen years in age and were engaged in "brutal sex scenes", the police said. The material seemed to be compiled from Internet and foreign sources, it added.
