A grand jury indicted four people on Wednesday, after an investigation revealed that a female teacher at an El Paso School allegedly sexually assaulted a male student multiple times and three school officials failed to report the assault.

In December 2010, authorities received a report of a sex assault on a student at the Hilltop Baptist School, according to a news release from the El Paso County Sheriff's Office.

Further investigations and interviews revealed that a 15-year-old student was allegedly sexually assaulted several times in 2007. In February 2011, the school was searched and the case was presented before a grand jury.

On Wednesday, Terah Allyn Rawlings, a 32-year-old teacher at the school, was arrested and later released after posting a $25,000 bond. She has been charged with four counts of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust in a pattern of abuse, four counts of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust and obscenity promotion.

Franklin "Wayne" Knight, 63, was also arrested and charged with failure to report child abuse or neglect and accessory to a crime. Knight is senior pastor of Hilltop Baptist Church and the former superintendent of the Hilltop Baptist School. Rawlings is Knight's niece.

Knight was released on a $2,000 bond.

Rawlings' father, 57-year-old Raymond "Allen" Knight, was arrested and charged with failure to report child abuse or neglect. He was released on a $300 bond. He is the associate pastor of Hilltop Baptist Church and the former athletic director at the school.

The school's former principal, Jan Ocvirk, 51, was arrested today. She is charged with two counts of failure to report child abuse or neglect. Her bond was set at $300.

The investigation is ongoing.
