Police have started investigating allegations of sexual abuse at a bible college in central Alberta.
Officials at Prairie Bible Institute in Three Hills said they have taken a file containing the allegations to the RCMP.
The assaults took place several decades ago and the president of the college released a statement that said the member of the staff involved is no longer at the school.
"Our objective is to provide a school environment that is healthy and vibrant," Mark Maxwell wrote.
"As we work our way through this difficult issue, my goal as president is to deal with this in an open and accessible manner."
As a result police have now been asking anyone with allegations that may be related to come forward.
They have not released any further details of the case.
