LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A Catholic priest accused of sexually abusing young boys will go to trial on May 29th. A Jefferson County grand jury indicted Reverend James Schook this summer on seven counts of sodomy involving two teenage boys in 1971 and 1972.

Schook's accusers say they are frustrated it's taken almost three years to get a trail date. One, Michael Stansberry, when asked what it was like to see him in court, replied, "Nauseating. It takes everything I got to keep from hurting him because I was lied to."

Schook remains a priest, but in 2010, the Archdiocese of Louisville permanently suspended him after it validated the abuse accusations.
