(WIVB) - Buffalo's Catholic Bishop is back from a trip to the Vatican. Bishop Edward Kmiec had a front row seat as Pope Benedict XVI discussed the ongoing sex-abuse issues in the Catholic Church. The Bishop landed earlier Thursday night at the Buffalo airport, where he said the Vatican is working on the case for Father Nelson Baker's path to sainthood. Most Rev. Kmiec said, "There was an examination of the authenticity of the miracle by three doctors and two out of three passed on it. So it goes on now to another review by a larger group of doctors. Then it goes to some Theologians." The Bishop also celebrated mass at the Tomb of St. Peter's in Rome.
