Rev. Piotr Bialkowski

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - The Suffolk priest accused of assaulting the mother of his child won't appear in court again until March of next year.

Rev. Piotr Bialkowski's will appear in Suffolk's Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on March 22, 2012.

The former pastor at St. Mary's in Suffolk and Good Shepherd in Smithfield is charged with domestic assault.

Bialkowski was arrested on Nov. 28 for an incident that took place Nov. 27, according to Suffolk police spokesperson Debbie George.

"She advised the father of her child entered her home, came in the bedroom, forced her up against the wall, pinned her up against the wall. It took a friend jumping on his back to get him off of her," George said.

Bialkowski was suspended from all priestly duties.
