A court ruled priest Julio Cesar Grassi remains under house arrest, following the fact” he publically mentioned the victims” of the cases for which he was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Grassi atended the hearing at the Moron courts and was taken to jail, but he will comply with the house arrest ruling.

Earlier today, Moron public prosecutor Alejandro Varela and the plaintiffs of the sexual abuse case requested the priest’s detention on grounds that he violated the conditions that had been imposed on hi, including the ban of his entering the Felices los ninos foundation, where he allegedly sexually abused several teenagers.

Grassi was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment after being found guilty of charges including aggravated sexual abuse and child abuse aggravated by his priest condition. Grassi was free because his sentences is being analyzed by the Buenos Aires province Supreme Court of Justice
