During the same hour each weekday (from noon to 1 p.m.) we can flip the radio dial (buttons?) back and forth between the giant KMOX and tiny WGNU and hear both Al Sharpton and Rush Limbaugh overlap one hour. . .A March 2013 trial date has been set in St. Louis county for a little-noticed civil child sex abuse lawsuit against Fr. Thomas Graham. In 2005, a jury found Graham guilty of sodomy for molesting Lyn Woolfolk in the late 1970’s and sentenced him to 20 years in jail. However, in November of 2006 the MO Supreme Court overturned the conviction and prison sentence, citing the three-year statute of limitations on the charge. . .More than 200 St. Louis Zoo volunteers attended the annual appreciation dinner where Susan Krawil and Jean Rakowsky won recognition for 30 years service and kudos went to Jan Goldstein and Drew Franz as co-chairs of the 2001 Zoofari, that brought in $900k. The night’s highest award went to a 28-year volunteer, Julie Gerlach, who has clocked in 26,000 hours of service, doing everything from playing Mrs. Santa Claus to serving as a first aid liaison to observing animals for research.. . .Drew Sterling’s St. Louis Rotisserie Restaurant and Catering Co. was the Cardinals “Choice Caterer” for the post-game meal in the clubhouse at Busch Stadium after the Cubs game. The menu of wood-fire rotisserie chicken was deemed healthy and tasty by Simon Lusky, the team’s head nutritionist. . .”You can find anything on the internet,” some say. Believe it or not, there’s actually a group here called the St. Louis Area Pen Users, “an informal club for those interested in writing instruments and related items”
