New Trial Date Set in Green Bay Diocese Civil Fraud Case

GREEN BAY, Wis.--A new trial date has been set in the civil fraud case against the Green Bay Catholic Diocese.

The lawsuit was brought on by the Merryfield brothers. The two were molested by former Priest John Patrick Feeney in1978.

Last May, a jury decided the diocese committed fraud by not revealing Feeney's past history of sexual abuse. But a judge overturned that verdict and a new trial has been ordered for May 6, 2013.
