Former Priest Charged with Sex Offences in Court 5

Former Roman Catholic priest Gabriele DelBianco appeared in Sarnia court Monday for a preliminary hearing. He was charged in 2011 with committing sexual offences involving four teenage girls between 1981 and 1987. The hearing is set to continue Tuesday and Wednesday, and will determine if a Superior Court trial is warranted. DelBianco, 55, left the priesthood in 1996 after serving at churches in Wallaceburg and Windsor.
