Former Priest Faces September Sentencing Date

A former St. Joseph priest will be sentenced in September after pleading guilty to multiple child pornography charges.

Rev. Shawn Ratigan, pleaded guilty in August to five counts of producing child pornography and attempting to produce child pornography.

Wednesday, a judge announced Ratigan would be sentenced Sept. 12.

Prosecutors have said they plan to seek a "virtual life sentence."
