Our Lady of Czestochowa in 2007.

Lawyers for a woman who says a priest from Our Lady of Czestochowa in New Britain Township sexually abused her will file a lawsuit today in Bucks County Court in Doylestown.

Attorneys Marci Hamilton and Daniel Monahan say the accused priest will be named, along with his order, the Pauline Fathers, and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Hamilton said the woman is a child sexual abuse survivor who sought help from the church as an adult.

“He obtained her trust, lured her for pastoral counseling to the retreat house of Our Lady of Czestochowa and sexually assaulted her,” Hamilton said.

The attorneys allege that the woman reported the abuse to church authorities and law enforcement, but that nothing was done. They claim the priest is no longer at the shrine.

A press conference on the lawsuit will occur this afternoon in Doylestown.
