Stephen Budd will face a jury Sept. 23.

Budd is accused of giving at least two fourth-grade girls candy in exchange for sex while he was teaching at Rosarian Academy. Police said Budd called the candy "Budd Bucks."

The former teacher was arrested last month.

Budd's attorney waived his motion for a bond hearing after receiving new documents, saying he may make another motion once he reviews them.

"I got a bunch of different materials handed to me this morning that I need time to go over, and we will reschedule the motion as soon as we've had a chance to review them all," attorney Jason Weiss said.

That attorney would not elaborate on what those documents are about.

Budd's family members wouldn't comment, nor would prosecutors.

The judge in the case has family members who attended Rosarian. Judge Stephen Rapp told defense attorneys he wouldn't be offended if he was asked to recuse himself, but Budd's attorneys said they don't believe it will be a conflict.

Investigators said they believe Budd may have more victims.
