Lawton police arrest a pastor in Lawton who is accused of sex crimes against children.

According to investigators, six children in DHS custody told them 28-year-old Bobby Burrell exposed himself and performed lewd acts in front of them. The children lived at the Sequoyah House in Lawton at the time of the allegations. The Sequoyah House is a home for children in the custody of DHS and Burrell was in charge of the home. Burrell is also a pastor.

Police verified that the suspect had taken kids from the home to his church and other undocumented locations and some of the employees at the home knew it was happening.

The allegations against Burrell include unauthorized trips from the Sequoyah House between the alleged suspect and residents, the suspect showing pornographic pictures and videos to the juvenile residents and the suspect performing lewd and sexual acts in front of the juvenile residents.

Arrest warrants were filed for several other employees at the Sequoyah house because police say they neglected to report the abuse. Stephanie Clanton, 32, Dekota Shedd, 39, and Chevonne Goins, 33, all face charges of failing to report abuse or neglect.

The Sequoyah House closed its doors and ceased operation shortly after the allegations were made.
