Fr. William Vatterott Pleads Guilty, Is Sentenced on Child Porn Charges

A local priest has pleaded guilty to child pornography possession.

Fr. William F. Vatterott, 37, pleaded guilty Friday in federal court, admitting to possessing child pornography between June 2010 and June 2011.

He was a pastor at St. Cecelia Parish in St. Louis when the allegations surfaced and put on administrative leave. Before that, he was an associate pastor at Holy Infant in Ballwin.

Vatterott was sentenced to 37 months in prison by Judge E. Richard Webber.
