A pastor who faces several child sex abuse charges is out on bond.

The pastor at Pentecostal Outreach Church in Buena Vista, 61-year-old Larry Clark, is charged with two counts of taking indecent liberties with a child and one count of putting a child's life at risk. The alleged incidents date back two years ago and involve two male minors - one 15-year-old and another whose age has not been released. Investigators say the molestation took place at Clark's home near the church.

Outside Rockbridge County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court Tuesday, several parishioners waited and prayed. Those inside the courtroom learned that, decades ago, Clark was convicted of embezzlement and larceny in Norfolk and in Chesapeake.

Bond was set at $7,500. Clark was being held at Rockbridge County Jail, but he posted bond Tuesday and will be released.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 9. As attorneys prepare for the case, the judge ordered Clark have no contact with the boys involved and no unsupervised contact with any minors.
