A judge has ordered the Archdiocese of St Louis to turn over records of priests accused of sexual abuse from 1983 to 2003.

The order from Judge Robert Dierker sets a deadline of 5 p.m. Friday for the Archdiocese to release the records to attorney Ken Chackes.

Chackes represents a woman who is suing the Archdiocese over allegations she was abused by a priest and he told News 4, the 230 reports will show the Archdiocese repeatedly kept abusive priests.

An Archdiocese spokesperson sent a statement by email which stated, “The Archdiocese of St. Louis will review with its attorneys today’s court order for the release of identities of victims and accused clergy dating back many years that involve any substantiated allegation of sexual abuse.”
