Joseph R. Bennett:

Deceased. Affiliated with Holy Ghost Catholic Church in South Holland; St. John de la Salle, Our Lady of Fatima, St. Christina and St. Agnes in Chicago; and Our Lady of the Ridge in Chicago Ridge. Removed him from Holy Ghost in January 2006.

Robert C. Becker:

Deceased. Was among 11 priests named in a $8 million settlement with sexual abuse victims announced by the archdiocese in August 2008.

Deceased. Affiliated with St. Christina’s Church in Chicago, St. Bede the Venerable in Chicago, Quigley Preparatory in Chicago, St. Catherine of Siena Oak Park, St. Albert the Great in Burbank and St. Joseph’s in Homewood.

Joseph Fitzharris:

Served at St. Pascal in Chicago. A panel in October 1991 recommended that four associate pastors, including Fitzharris, be removed from parishes.

James Hagan:

Affiliated with St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Oak Park; and St. Richard Parish, St. Gertrude Parish and St. Denis Parish in Chicago. Removed from ministry and resigned from the priesthood in April 1997. Sued in April 2006 by a Chicago man who alleged he was molested by Hagan for two years during the mid-1990s.

Daniel M. Holihan:

Deceased. Affiliated with St. Aloysius in Chicago in the late 1960s, when alleged abuse occurred. Removed from ministry in September 2007. Was among 11 priests removed from public ministry by Cardinal Francis George in September 2005 because of sexual misconduct with children.

Thomas Job:

Affiliated with St. Cletus in La Grange, St. Joseph in Libertyville and St. John Vianny in Northlake. Named in an October 2005 archdiocese settlement with adults who accused 14 priests of molesting them when they were children.

Thomas Kelly:

Deceased. Served as associate pastor at Our Lady of Knock Church in Calumet City; affiliated with St. John Vianney Church in Northlake, St. Catherine of Genoa, St. Teresa of the Infant Jesus in Chicago, Queen of Apostles in Riverdale, St. Kieran in Chicago Heights and St. James in Sauk Village. Alleged abuse took place in 1973 when he was at St. Therese.

Raymond Skriba:

Last served as pastor at St. Joseph Parish in Round Lake starting in 1984, where he was granted leave to fight accusations that he molested two girls in the 1960s when he was an associate pastor of St. Gertrude Parish in Franklin Park. Before that, he had served at Queen of the Universe in Chicago from 1957-62, at St. Gertrude from 1962-67, at St. Walter in Chicago from 1967-70, at St. Joseph in Round Lake from 1970-76 and at Immaculate Conception in Waukegan from 1976-84. In 2003, the archdiocese removed him from ministry.

Marion Snieg:

Ordained in 1955 and was at St. Jane de Chantal until 1960. He also served as associate pastor at St. William and St. Constance Parishes, and as pastor at Maternity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Chicago and St. Rosalie Church in Harwood Heights. After he retired, he last served part-time at Addolorata Villa in Wheeling, a nursing home run by the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago. In 1987, the archdiocese received a report alleging that Snieg had engaged in sexual misconduct with a minor when he was at St. Jane de Chantal. In 2002, the archdiocese removed him from ministry.

Victor Stewart:

Ordained in 1978 and served at St. Catherine of Genoa in Chicago from 1978 to 1983 and St. Charles Lwanga in Chicago as pastor from 1983 to 1991. He died in 1994.

Ralph Strand:

Ordained as a priest in 1964 and served at St. Mary Catholic Church in Des Plaines from June 1986 to June 1991 as associate pastor and at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church on Chicago's Northwest Side from 1991 until he was placed on leave in 1993 after an allegation of engaging in inappropriate sexual behavior. In 1995, was sentenced to 4 years in prison after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting a 15-year-old altar boy at St. Mary's over a two-year period starting in 1990.

Thomas Swade:

He was removed from St. Dorothy Catholic Church, 450 E. 78th St., Chicago, in 1992 after six people stepped forward with allegations of sexual touching and other acts. He was reinstated five years later after treatment in a rehabilitation program, and served as coordinator of the Office for Racial Justice. In 2002, the archdiocese removed him from ministry.

Ordained in 1950 and resigned in 1974.

Walter Turlo:

In 2005, he resigned as pastor of St. Fabian Church in Bridgeview after the archdiocese launched an inquiry into allegations that he engaged in "highly inappropriate behavior" about 30 years ago while he was an associate pastor at St. William Church on the Northwest Side of Chicago. Turlo had been pastor at St. Fabian since January 1996. In 2005, the archdiocese temporarily him from ministry.
