The Dutch Supreme Court has banned the Martijn group, which promoted pedophilia in the name of freedom of expression and association, both enshrined in the Constitution. The judges have decided, however, that "physical and psychological integrity of the child just when you need protection and is far more important than dependent older people." The ruling also states that "this type of contact is contrary to the values of the Dutch society and can affect a child for life." The decision follows the advice of the State Attorney General and ends a long judicial process that had been dragging on since 2011. It further forces the dissolution of the group, whose president was in jail for possession of child pornography.

Although child abuse is against the Dutch law, it was not easy to get rid of Martijn. Founded in 1982, its members have always asserted  "discussion forum for social acceptance of sex between adults and children (from 12 years) provided they are voluntary and sanctioned by the parents." In 2011, the Ministry of Justice decided to promote such an idea, even reprehensible, was part of the freedom of expression. A year later, however, the courts ruled that the ideology of pro pedophilia itself contradicted the norms of Dutch society, and ordered its dissolution. In 2013, that ruling was overturned, this time in the name of freedom of association. State Attorney General then appealed to the Supreme court and has now won the case.

Between 1986 and 2006, the magazine published by Martijn OK Magazine, sent only by mail and no sale on newsstands. Filled with photos of scantily clad children, especially boys, articles and essays revolved around seeking the ideal society, where young and old could relate sexually. In 2007, they collided with the Dutch royal family to hang on their website photos of Princess Amalia, heir to the throne and eldest daughter of the current king, Willem-Alexander and Maxima. Two of her cousins were also in separate images are accompanied by suggestive texts. The Bureau of the Royal Household warned them that they risked being sued if they did not withdraw immediately the material, and it disappeared for public pages repositories but Not so for subscribers.

Expelled in 1994 of the International Lesbian and Gay Association, the very fact that there was an organization of this nature has caused very embarrassing moments for the Dutch Government. The most recent was the center of the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, who in 2013 criticized the presence in society of "those people". Was responding to the clarion call of the Dutch authorities deploring the discrimination of homosexuals in Russia.

Despite insisting on the pedagogical nature of his ideology, justice has also pursued members of Martijn. In 2010, agents found huge amounts of pornography on the computers of the then president, Ad van den Berg. Founder turn dissolved Party Charity, Freedom and Diversity (supporter of pedophilia, bestiality, self publishing child pornography and legal use of soft drugs for age 12), was sentenced to three years in prison for possessing 150,000 pictures and 7,500 videos of child pornography.

A Dutch Salesian priest, member until the arrest of Martijn Van den Berg said in 2011 at the commercial broadcaster RTL that "sex between adults and kids is not always harmful to the latter." The Salesians immediately distanced themselves religious.
