Catholic Bishop's Home to Be Sold, with Some of the Proceeds to Benefit Sexual Abuse Victims

A Roman Catholic diocese in Pennsylvania says it plans to sell the bishop's residence, and some of the proceeds will benefit sexual abuse victims.

The Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown says Bishop Mark L. Bartchak will move into the rectory of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Altoona.

A news release says proceeds from the sale will be applied to "pastoral needs" in the diocese, including the care of victims in sexual misconduct cases.
