Former Church Camp Volunteer Sentenced for Child Molestation

(KFYI News) He was a volunteer at Phoenix First Assembly of God and Highlands Church in the Valley. 28-year-old Christian Turcios pleaded guilty to six charges that include child molestation, aggravated assault and sexual exploitation of a minor. The victims ranged in age from 6 to 14 years old. The abuse occurred during a 7 year span. Turcios volunteered at summer church camps and was a custodian at Highland Church. He was arrested over two years ago after police found child porn at his residence. As part of the plea, the judge sentences Tucios to 30 years in prison and lifetime probation.
