PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Homestead pastor Duane Youngblood waived charges of corrupting the morals of a minor to trial, but has yet to be arraigned on new charges including involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and indecent assault.

His lawyer now says he is cooperating with authorities.

“We had a two-hour interview yesterday with [county detectives] Dish and Keibler in this case in which my client outlined exactly what his relationship was with this alleged victim, what his sex offender treatment has been like and any motive he may have felt were the foundation for these charges being brought,” said defense attorney Milton Raiford.

Even so, the new charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and indecent assault were filed and his lawyer says his client will give statements to police about those charges as well.

Those specifics have yet to be revealed.

In the first case, a young man – who is now 21 – says it happened when he sought counseling at Higher Call World Outreach Church in Homestead and that the alleged acts began when he was 16.

But unlike the last hearing, Raiford and a writer for the website pimppreacher.com, Leonard Robinson, shook hands today.

Last time, the attorney made some serious accusations claiming the writer could be called as a witness and that Robinson had a relationship with Youngblood.

But today, Raiford apologized saying he thought Robinson was someone else.

“I apologize to Mr. Robinson,” Raiford said. “I did apologize to him personally a minute ago, but I want to say for the record because I mistakenly thought he was someone else last time when we had that boorish exchange with him out here on the sidewalk.”

“I’m okay with the apology,” said Robinson. “I didn’t come here to start up anything else. I’m just here to cover for my website pimppreacher.com and that’s all I’m here for.”

Meanwhile, Youngblood has yet to be arraigned on the new charges.

In 2006, Youngblood was accused of molesting a 15-year-old boy and was sentenced to one year of intermediate punishment and seven years’ probation. He is a registered sex offender.
