Bastrop Co. Youth Minister Charged with Sexual Assault of a Child

A 25-year-old Bastrop County youth minister is charged with sexual assault of a child. The Bastrop County Sheriff's Office says they were notified of the alleged assault in April. Investigators say a witness saw Isahiah Arellano having sex with a 16-year-old girl. The incident happened at a Bastrop County family's home Arellano had been allowed to move into last year because he had no electricity in his trailer, the Sheriff's Office says. The victim told investigators they'd had three other sexual encounters in the past -- which Arellano denied, the Sheriff's Office says.
