Jacob Robert Holguin led two lives. In one, he was a doting father and family man who involved himself in his church.

But in front of a computer screen he was “friend of grimm,” who would seek out child pornography — enjoying watching bestiality and kids having awful things done to them.

Those two pictures emerged Friday as Holguin, 42, a former butcher at the Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph commissary, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for distributing child pornography.

He apologized for his actions. Chief U.S. District Judge Fred Biery gave him the maximum for the distribution charge and an additional 10 years for possessing child pornography, but ran that portion concurrent with the 20 years.

The judge also ordered Holguin to serve a lifetime of federal supervision when he gets out of prison.

As part of a plea deal, Holguin admitted entering chat rooms where visitors traded child porn and fantasies of being with children. But undercover police were also in one of the chat rooms, collecting evidence that helped lead to his prosecution.

“i really like ... rape. ... i like to see them ... saying no, it hurts, stop,” Holguin (known then as “friend of grimm”) wrote in one of the online chat sessions, court documents state.

The FBI raided his home in November 2012, confiscating computer media that was later found to contain 2,400 child porn images and 500 videos.

An FBI agent testified at an earlier bail hearing that Holguin trolled the Internet for juveniles “to rape.” Holguin had fondled a 15-year-old girl and took cellphone pictures of her private areas, the agent said.

When not online, Holguin was a Bible study instructor of fourth-, fifth- and sixth-graders at Calvary Chapel in Universal City, court records show.
