Johnathan Pruitt Hicks dead at 58. A onetime reporter for The New York Times, he was born in our town. Hicks was a Mizzou alum and his dad, John H. Hicks, was the first black reporter at the Post-Dispatch. . .Congrats to Fr. Bruce H. Forman appeared on page one of The New York Times because a civil suit accused him of sexually abusing a minor at a drive-in screening of “Fast Times at Ridgemont High.”. . .A Missouri Lawyers Weekly review of the evidence heard by the Ferguson grand jury (such as it has leaked thus far) with prosecution and defense experts draws a consensus: Police Officer Darren Wilson will likely go free.
