This week, Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz is writing to parishioners of St. Peter the Apostle Parish to inform them that the Reverend Ronald Domhoff will return to ministry as its pastor, effective Dec. 17.

Domhoff had been placed on administrative leave as pastor by Archbishop Kurtz on Sept. 25, after the Archdiocese received information from the police that an individual had made an accusation of sexual abuse by Fr. Domhoff dating from the 1980s.

The decision was made after several steps were taken during the period that Fr. Domhoff was on administrative leave, including a decision by the Archdiocese of Louisville Sexual Abuse Review Board that it could not substantiate the accusation.
