ALBION, N.Y. -- Testimony began Wednesday in Orleans County Court in the sexual abuse case involving a former Niagara County pastor.

Two alleged victims said that Roy Harriger, who was serving as pastor at Wesleyan Church in Lyndonville, abused them as children. The alleged victims were under the age of 10 at the time.

Harriger is accused of sexually abusing three young victims between Jan. 2000 and Dec. 2002. He's charged with sexual conduct against a child and incest.

"It extends over a number of different individuals. The family has had a hard time with this for a lot of years," said Orleans County District Attorney Joseph Cardone.

Jurors heard from witnesses throughout the day including an expert from Buffalo.

Cardone said that he believes a verdict may be reached by the end of the week.
