Delso Eli Erazo, 69, is being held in the Montgomery County jail.

Montgomery County investigators have charged a pastor from The Woodlands with molesting a young girl beginning when she was 6 and continuing for nine years, and are now trying to determine if he may have assaulted any other young victims.

The pastor, Delso Eli Erazo, 69, is being held in the Montgomery County jail on a felony charge of indecency with a child, according to a news release from Montgomery County Constable Precinct 3. His bond has been set at $200,000.

The suspect's attorney, Cruz Cervantes, said he cannot discuss the case and has also advised his client to remain silent.

According to the Texas secretary of state, Erazo is listed as one of three directors who formed a corporation - Iglesia Cristiana Monte Sinai de Houston, Tx. Inc. - in 2012 in order to "establish an evangelical Biblical organization and place of worship."

Missing information

The organization is based on Burberry Park Circle in The Woodlands, at the same address that Erazo lists as his home on his driver's license and where authorities say the assaults occurred.

In addition, a church website lists Erazo as pastor for a similarly named church at a house in The Woodlands.

Investigators say Erazo was also serving as pastor at a small church on FM 2920 in Spring called La Nuevo Jerusalem Church.

Nobody answered the telephone number listed for The Woodlands church on Wednesday, and no telephone number could be found for the Spring church.

Investigators say they are still trying to identify all the locations where Erazo might have worked. Assistant District Attorney Tyler Dunman said Erazo is not a U.S. citizen, and the victim's father had expressed fear that he might flee to Venezuela.

A cry for help

According to the complaint, the last time the victim, now age 15, was assaulted was two months ago, just before Christmas. The victim told authorities that Erazo improperly touched her "with the intent to arouse and gratify his sexual desire" when she was in a kitchen. The report also described past sexual assaults and said the victim screamed during the last incident, making an outcry to another adult for the first time.

The victim said she had not alerted anyone prior to this because she was afraid of what the suspect would do to her family and also feared that she would be punished because the sexual abuse occurred, the report said.

"At this time, the constable's office is attempting to learn if there are any other possible victims," the constable's office said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the constable's lead investigator, Adam Acosta, at 936-538-3414
