The Survivors Network of those Abused by Priest (SNAP) director David Clohessy says there were two predator priests in the Springfield area decades ago, both are now deceased, and it's Springfield Bishop Thomas Paprocki's obligation to reach out to possible now-adult victims.

Neither of these priests had ever been charged with a crime, but Clohessy said Paprocki should post all predator priests.

“We're asking him to post the names of Father Martinez and Father Fitzgerald and any other proven admitted or credibly accused child molesting cleric who spent any time in the Springfield diocese.

The Springfield diocese had another side to this story. They said through a statement that neither of the accused priests were a part of the Springfield diocese. They belonged elsewhere and it is their community responsibility to handle this situation.
