A Washington, D.C., cop and preacher is accused of sexually abusing a teenage girl from his church on three occasions in the past four months.

The Metropolitan Police Department arrested Darrell Best, 45, on Monday night, two days after a 16-year-old God-A Second Chance Ministry Church congregant came forward as an alleged victim, police announced late Monday night.

"She felt intimidated to the point that she couldn't resist," a man claiming to be the girl’s father told WTTG-TV

Another church member, an 18-year-old woman, has said that Best prepositioned her, WTTG reported.

“I told him ‘No' on multiple occasions, plenty of times," the woman told the TV station. “And he was armed and I didn't know what he could've had up his sleeve."

Best, a 25-year veteran of the force and the pastor of the Southern Ave. SE church, has been placed on administrative leave, The Washington Post reported.

Authorities collared Best in Largo, Md., and he’s currently in jail at the D.C. Department of Corrections, according to MPD.

The abuse of the younger girl started in December 2014 and Best is charged with first degree sex abuse of a minor, cops said.

In a statement Best sent to WTTG, he noted that the charges "are only allegations and when or if there is an appropriate time, I will comment further."
