Vladimir Sosa, seen here reading a Bible, was arrested after he allegedly posed as a church pastor and had sex with a 16-year-old girl.

A Bronx cop who is also a minister was arrested Tuesday for using his position at a local church to lure a 16-year-old female parishioner into having sex with him.

Vladimir Sosa, 38, was busted by officers with the Internal Affairs Bureau and charged with three counts of rape after the teen’s mother discovered incriminating texts between the two, court papers said.

Sosa works out of The Bronx’s 46th Precinct, which patrols the University Heights section.

Sosa met the girl while running a youth program at a church the victim attended, sources said.

In April 2014 he began having sex with the teen at his Harrod Avenue apartment.

The girl returned to the apartment to have sex with him on June 26 and Sept. 3, according to a criminal complaint.

In February the victim’s mother noticed questionable texts on the girl’s cellphone, police sources said.

The girl then came clean to her mom about her relationship with the church-minister cop, and the mother quickly alerted police.

Cops did not disclose the exact nature of their relationship, but sources described it as intimate.

Sources said the two had been romantically involved for at least a year.

Internal Affairs had been investigating Sosa since February.

According to his Facebook page, he studied theology at the United Christian College in Raleigh, NC.

“That can’t be true,” a member of Sosa’s church, the Iglesia Metodista El Remanente in Tremont, told The Post.

“He was just helping the girl and giving her spiritual advice. I know Vlad, it can’t be true.”

Police sources said Sosa is a seven-year veteran of the NYPD. He was suspended without pay.

He was charged with three counts of rape, criminal sexual act, two counts of sexual misconduct, endangering the welfare of a child and sexual abuse, according to the criminal complaint.

Sosa was released on his own recognizance after being arraigned at Bronx Criminal Court on Tuesday. His next court date is scheduled for April 17.

Last month, an NYPD sergeant was arrested for allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl in a similar relationship. That cop in the past had worked in Sosa’s 46th Precinct.
