A child sexual abuse survivor, Peter Blenkiron, says a 'phoenix must rise from the ashes' of the royal commission. Survivors described physical and mental health problems, as well as difficulties maintaining relationships and employment. Speaking outside the royal commission into institutional responses to child sexual abuse, he says, 'There've been so many suicides and premature deaths.'
