LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Naked pictures of children as young as six years old have been discovered on the computer of a Louisville priest.

Disturbing new evidence against Stephen Pohl was uncovered in court today.

The federal court records were unsealed Monday against the former pastor of St. Margaret Mary Parish. They reveal both the nature of the pictures on Pohl's computers, and how they were brought to light.

Court records graphically detail nude photos with kids appearing  to be between the ages of six and 16 in the Internet records of the computers in Pohl's office and rectory. Pohl is also accused of having more than 150 pictures of St. Margaret Mary students, but none of them are considered child pornography.

Instead, most are deemed child erotica.

The difference: The kids from Louisville are clothed and posed in what investigators described as "sexually-arousing positions." Some pictures reveal students' underwear and were taken at the Catholic school.

It all came to light after a 10-year-old from St. Margaret Mary told his parents that the pastor ask him to pose for pictures that were "weird."

Police say those parents eventually confronted Pohl in person, and found the pictures of their son and other students on his phone. Pohl resigned from St. Margaret Mary last week.

He was arrested in Florida Friday night.

Pohl pleaded not guilty at arraignment today.

If convicted on the child pornography charges Father Pohl faces 10 years in prison.
