CASA 0101 Theater will present a Panel Discussion on the subject of physical abuse following the 5:00 p.m. Matinee performance of the play DRUNK GIRL on Sunday, October 11, 2015 on the Main Stage of the CASA 0101 Theater, 2102 East First Street (at St. Louis Street), Boyle Heights, CA 90033. Discussion Panelists with include select members of the cast and production team of DRUNK GIRL, along with representatives from the Survivor's Network of Those Abused by Priests, Alcoholics Anonymous and the East Los Angeles Women's Center.

CASA 0101 Theater's World Premiere production of DRUNK GIRL, part the theater's 15th "Quinceañera" Anniversary Season, is currently receiving critical acclaim. LA Weekly wrote: "Involving 83 characters, nine actors and three directors, squeezed into a breathless 98 minutes...The tone of these pieces - defiant, resilient, refusing to speak in the hushed voices of victims - is admirable...." East Los Angeles College's Campus News wrote: "The stories were told boldly and captivated the audience. DRUNK GIRL and other stories your mother warned you about becoming is a series of plays exploring the struggles of women to have power over their bodies, their lives and their destinies. DRUNK GIRL is a collection of 16 short plays, monologues and sketch pieces. The subject matter, which explores physical abuse and recovery, and objectification and societal attitudes, is for mature audiences only. Individuals under 18-years-of-age must be accompanied by an adult.

DRUNK GIRL features nine actors portraying 83 roles in a series of 16 short plays, monologues and sketch pieces, under the direction of three directors, Claudia Duran, María G. Martínez and Elvia Rubalcava. The cast includes: Alex Alpharaoh, Henry Alexander Kelly, Henry Madrid, Juanita Medina, Rosa Navarrete, Melissa Perl, Samuel Solorio, Jasia Topete and Maia Villa.

Tickets for the Sunday, October 11, 2015 performance at 5:00 p.m. are $20 per person for General Admission; $17 per person for Students and Seniors; and $15 per person for Boyle Heights residents. Discounts for Groups of 10 or more will be available at $15 per person. Admission to the Panel Discussion is free with the purchase of ticket to the October 11th Matinee performance of the play. Tickets are also available for other performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 5:00 p.m. though October 18, 2015.

Free Parking is available on several streets surrounding the theatre. Free Parking is also available on Fridays and Saturdays only at the Boyle Heights City Hall Parking Lot located at 2130 East First Street (at Chicago Street) by entering the lot from Chicago Street; the lot is closed on Sundays. METRO bus stations are located on First Street in Boyle Heights at both Soto Street, and at Boyle Street (Mariachi Plaza), within a short walking distance to the theatre.

DRUNK GIRL is recommended for mature audiences only. Individuals under 18-years-of-age must be accompanied by an adult. Advance reservations are highly recommended.
