Round Rock Police arrested 68-year-old Henry Lee McGee of Round Rock for continuous sexual abuse of a child.

According to police, the incident was initially reported to the Austin Police Department by the victim's parents. APD referred the family to Round Rock Police as that is where much of the alleged abuse occurred.

An investigation by RRPD revealed McGee had committed sexual acts with the victim since June of 2014.

According to an affidavit, the victim told her friends at a church meeting in October of 2015 that she had been in a sexual relationship with McGee for the past year.

Police say McGee had been in a sexual relationship with the girl since she was 13. McGee was her church pastor at First Baptist Church in East Austin.

"I was upset like it was one of my children," said Sherri Flemings, who used to attend the church.

Investigators say the victim first had sex with McGee in a storage facility somewhere in Georgetown. She also said they had sex in McGee's home while his wife was away as well as at a hotel in Round Rock. Later, the child revealed she and McGee had sexual relations in his church office on different days of the week.

"It's sickening to say the least," said Rossie Davis who lives near the church and considered attending. "It's sad that the congregation has to go through this, and it tarnishes the church."

McGee was booked at the Williamson County Jail, where he later posted bond.

KEYE attempted to contact both McGee and other church leaders, but calls and emails went unanswered.

Round Rock police suspect there may be additional victims. Anyone with information should contact the Round Rock Police Department at 512-218-5500.
