A prominent rabbi in New Haven was accused by a second man of longstanding sexual abuse starting when he was a child.

Aviad Hack said during a deposition that sexual encounters with Rabbi Daniel Greer started in the early 90's and continued through 2004 at a number of different properties, according to the New Haven Independent. Greer has denied the allegations.

Hack said he was afraid to tell anyone because Greer and Hack's family had worked together to revitalize a neighborhood and create a religious community and school. Hack is now an administrator

Hack was originally named as a defendant in a lawsuit filed by former Gan School student Eliyahu Mirlis that alleged Greer abused him for years and that Hack knew about it.

Mirlis alleged that he was sexually abused dozens of times by Greer beginning when he was a 15-year-old student at the school, according to the lawsuit.
