A former Erie Catholic priest who says he was sexually abused by a priest when he was a teenager, is reacting to this week's arrest of a former priest on sex abuse charges.

James Faluszczak and a victim's advocate came to Erie to talk about the latest developments.

They have been following the news from Buffalo.

Faluszczak calls the abuse case of former priest David Poulson disgusting and horrifying.

But he is also not happy with the Erie Catholic Diocese.

Church leaders say there was no cover up.

But Faluszczak says the Diocese should have immediately notified law enforcement about reports that Father Poulson was attracted to young boys.

He said, "I think that most people in the pews recognize that the church is failing on the most basic human level."

Faluszczak has also been speaking about clergy sex abuse cases in the Buffalo Catholic Diocese.
