A number of lawsuits alleging sexual abuse within the Albany Roman Catholic Diocese were filed Wednesday.

What follows is a list of some of the religious leaders and others who were accused of sexually abusing children:

Bishop Howard Hubbard, former leader of the Albany Roman Catholic Diocese, accused of sexually abusing a 16-year-old parishioner at St. Mary's Church in Ballston Spa in 1990s. A lawyer for Hubbard said the accusation is false.

Rev. Paul Bondi, former priest St. Mary's Church Ballston Spa, accused of sexually abusing the same plaintiff as Hubbard when the plaintiff was between the age of 12 and 15.

Rev. Edward Pratt, a former priest at St. Catherine's Center for Children, accused of grooming and sexually abusing a boy between the ages of 11 and 15 in the 1980s.

Rev. Joseph Romano, a former priest LaSalle School in Albany, accused of sexually abusing Steven Narbon when Narbon was between the ages of 15 and 16 in 1980 and 1981.

Brother Clement Murphy, former administrator at St. Paul the Apostle Parish and School in Schenectady, accused of abusing a girl between the age of 7 and 10 between 1964 and 1967.

Rev. Ladislaus Guzielek, a former priest at St. Adalbert's Church in Schenectady, accused of abusing a boy between the age of 11 and 16 between 1954 and 1959.

Rev. John Klebauskas, a former priest at St. Joseph's Church in Troy, accused of abusing a boy between the age of 12 and 15 between 1961 and 1964.

Rev. Robert Hatela, a former priest at St. Patrick's Church in Albany, accused of sexually abusing a boy between the age of 14 and 17 between 1964 and 1968.

Rev. Donald Starks, a former priest at St. Patrick's Church in Albany, accused of sexually abusing the same boy as Hatela between 1964 and 1968.

Sister Regina Losee, nun at St. Colman's Home in Watervliet, accused of sexually abusing three sisters while they lived at the school for orphans between 1957 and 1964. The nun died in 2012.

Guy Vosberg, a former maintenance worker at St. Colman's Home, accused of sexually abusing at least two sisters under the care of St. Colman's Home.

Paul Donahue, a mentally disabled resident of St. Colman's Home, accused of sexually abusing a girl who lived at St. Colman's Home.

Eugene Hubert Jr., former priest and janitor at St. Teresa at Avila in Albany accused of sexually abusing Jack Cesare and another boy around 1978. He died in 1997.

Rev. Sean McMahon, a former priest at Sacred Heart Church in Cairo, accused of abusing a 16-year-old in 1984.

Rev. Gary Mercure, a former priest at Our Lady of the Assumption in Latham, accused of abusing a child from ages 10 to 12 in 1974 to 1976. Mercure was convicted in Massachusetts in 2011 of raping two altar boys from Warren County.

"Father John" (last name unknown), a former priest at St. Mary's Church and School in Troy, accused of abusing a 13-year-old child between 1965 and 1966.

Brothers Connell Bernard and Charles Fritz, employees at Albany's LaSalle School, are accused of abusing a 14-year-old in separate instances between 1955 and 1956.

Rev. Joseph Estabrook, is accused of abusing a student between the age of 14 and 16 between 1969 and 1971 at St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church. He died in 2012.

Brother James Vincent Hanney is accused in 11 complaints of sexually abusing male and female students at Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons High School in Schenectady in the 1970s. He is believed to be living in the Philippines.

Sister Benedict Marie, a nun at St. Joseph's Infant Home in Troy, is accused of abusing a five-year-old in 1946. She died in 1995.

Rev. Thomas R. Gilmartin is accused of abusing a 10-year-old child in St. Margaret Mary Parish in Albany in 1971.

Msgr. Francis X. Ryan is accused of abusing an altar boy between the age of six and nine between 1963 and 1966 at St. Patrick's Church in Troy.

Rev. John F. Fitzpatrick, a former priest at Sacred Heart Church in Castleton-on-the-Hudson, is accused of abusing a teenager between 16 and 17 between 1976 to 1977.

Efforts to reach the accused through the Albany diocese or the orders they belonged to were not successful.

The Times Union is only naming plaintiffs who had previously agreed to be identified as victims of sexual abuse in past newspaper report. It is the newspaper's practice to not name alleged victim's of sexual abuse.
