Florida Pastor Jailed on Child Pornography Charges

The pastor of a Baptist church in the Florida Panhandle was arrested Monday on child pornography charges, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said.

Agents tracked uploads to an IP address at the Milton home of William Dalton Milam, 62, the FDLE said.

Milam remained jailed Tuesday morning with no bond, Santa Rosa County jail records show.

The website of Olivet Baptist Church in Milton had removed Milam’s name from its website by Tuesday morning.

Agents said they got a tip about the uploads from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and “found multiple devices belonging to Milam that contained child pornography. The images depicted children as young as three years old engaged in sex acts,” according to an FDLE press release.

The Milton Police Department and Homeland Security Investigations helped in the case.
