  Accused Priest Faces New Charges

Wisconsin State Journal (Madison, WI)
June 21, 1992

More charges were filed against a Roman Catholic priest who is facing a trial in Clark County this week on a charge of indecently touching a 12-year-old Colby boy.

Father Bruce Ball, 44, now also faces two felony counts in Jackson County of causing a child to expose a sex organ.

Ball is scheduled to appear in court July 6 on the latest charges, in which he allegedly dared two boys last summer to walk down railroad tracks with their genitals exposed.

Ball is scheduled to go to trial Tuesday in Clark County on charges that he allegedly indecently touched the Colby youngster while counseling him last winter at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Ball was dismissed from the church after the charges were filed in December.
