He was born Sept. 11, 1941, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and came to this area six years ago from Naples. A Catholic priest, he was a parochial vicar at Holy Cross Catholic Church and had also served at several parishes: St. Ann's Parish in Tobyhanna, Pa., St. Peters Parish in Wellsboro, Pa., St. Peter and Paul Parish in Towanda, Pa. and Saint Maria Goretti Parish in Laflin, Pa.

He taught at Pocono Central Catholic High School in Cresco, Pa., and St. John the Evangelist High School in Pittston, Pa. He was a graduate of St. Pius X Seminary, King's College and Marywood College.

Survivors include two sisters, Nancy M. Harworth of Kingston, Pa. and Carol V. Brague of Plains, Pa.; and a brother, Foster, also of Plains.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m., and from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Holy Cross Catholic Church. A bilingual service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at Holy Cross Catholic Church. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery in Wilkes-Barre. Kicliter Funeral Home is in charge.
