	Dallas Diocese Abuse Cases Dallas Morning News May 19, 2005 The diocese has paid an estimated $38.5 million to people who have accused priests and other employees of abuse. Much of the money went to victims of imprisoned ex-priest Rudy Kos. They won a judgment of nearly $120 million in a 1997 trial but later settled for about one-fourth of that amount.
