  Notification of Dismissal from the Clerical State

On November 10, 2006, His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI decreed that John W. Nolin was dismissed from the clerical state.

John Nolin has not had permission to exercise any ministry since June 1994.

He no longer resides in New Hampshire, and the local bishop where he does reside has been notified of this news.

By virtue of this decree, John Nolin is no longer bound to the obligations of the sacred priesthood, has no faculties to act as a priest, and has been returned to the lay state.
