Natick College Site Sold

Boston Globe
October 24, 1987

The former House of Affirmation, a Catholic college on 45 acres off Woodland Street in Natick, has been sold for $3.5 million to Dr. Kiyo Kitahara and the Musashino Higashi High School for autistic children. According to Helen Oppenheim of Hunneman & Co. Realtors/Better Homes and Gardens, broker for the buyer, the sale marked the largest transaction negotiated by the Hunneman residential division during its 60 years in business. Beatrice M. Clark of Clark Associates of Dedham represented the seller. The property was built by the Patten family in the early 1900s. It was purchased in the 1920s by the Oblate Fathers, who enlarged the property in 1965.
