It's Time to Demand New Leader to Replace Cardinal

When is enough, enough? We certainly have no problem blasting our politicians at even the slightest hint of wrongdoing, so why should our religious leaders be any different? ["Chicago Archdiocese to pay $12.6 million to settle 16 abuse cases," Aug. 13.]

Cardinal Francis George has protected sex abusers and has done little to restore our confidence in the archdiocese. Whose best interest is he looking out for? How many more lives need to be ruined before we stand up and demand new leadership?
