Vatican: Sardi, Stampa & Clemens worthy of esteem

(AGI) Vatican City- Three of the Pope’s oldest associates, alleged accomplices of Paolo Gabriele, are “worthy of esteem”.

Vatican spokesman, Father Federico Lombardi said that Cardinal Paolo Sardi, Bishop Joseph Clemens and Mrs Ingrid Stampa, are “three persons worthy of esteem and respect.” Lombardi said that the newspaper accusing them of being intentional accomplices reporting untruths and behaving in an extremely inappropriate manner with behaviour that follows other ‘scoops’ later disproved and that according to Father Lombardi “goes too far.” . .
