The royal commission into institutions and child sexual abuse will look at a church-run children’s home on the NSW north coast next month.
The commission’s second public hearing continues in Sydney on Tuesday, focusing on the responses by police and the YMCA to the abuse of children by former YMCA employee Jonathan Lord.
Lord is serving a 10-year sentence for molesting 12 boys aged between six and 11.
The commission on Tuesday announced it will hold a public hearing in Sydney from November 18, into the response of the Anglican Diocese of Grafton to claims of child sexual abuse at the North Coast Children’s Home in Lismore.
