Albany priest accused of child sex abuse

ALBANY — An Albany priest has been arrested on accusations of child sex abuse.

Stanley Brittain, 39, was taken into custody by Albany police after a tip from the Oregon Department of Justice Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

He surrendered without incident at an Albany home. He is known as Father Isidore and until last week, was affiliated with the St. Anne Orthodox Church in Corvallis, police said.
