An Oregon priest has been jailed after a raid at his home uncovered child pornography on his computer, according to police.

Stanley Brittain, aka Father Isidore of Albany, was arrested Thursday morning on charges of encouraging child sex abuse after authorities said they were tipped off to his extremely disturbing material.

Up until last week police said the 39-year-old had served as a priest at St. Anne’s Greek Orthodox Church in Corvallis.

Reasoning for his leave was not provided by Albany police Cpt. Eric Carter.

“As of last week he has left the church so at this point in time, at the time of his arrest, he was still technically a priest with the Orthodox Church but not affiliated or associated with the church in Corvallis,” Carter told the Daily News.
